Previously, translucent png images are not displayed properly
due to alpha channels premultiplication.
This patch implements that missing part to support it properly
by introducing the Surface data between canvas engine & rasterizer
@Issue: https://github.com/Samsung/thorvg/issues/655
This reverts commit cd5116b053.
Ah this breaks the Stress example due to Picture::duplicate() is not available...
Need to consider and come back again.
* common: added colorSpace() function
This patch introduces colorSpace() function for SW and GL engine.
* infra: change LoadModule:read() into LoadModule:read(uint32_t colorspace)
This patch changes LoadModule:read() into LoadModule:read(uint32_t colorspace)
* picture: implement passing colorspace into loader
This patch implements passing colorspace into loaders.
Loader->read is now called on the first update.
* external_jpg_loader: support colorspaces
* external_png_loader: support colorspaces
Current paint::bounds() returns the coordinates under the raw status,
the values are not quite useful if the paint object has the transformed children.
Thus, we extends the feature and give an additional parameter "transformed"
to return the coordinates values after transformation by user demands.
This is also necessary for tvg format, since we need the exact view size of the scene information.
The previous api is deprecated and we introduce a new api to replace it.
@APIs:
+ Result Paint::bounds(float* x, float* y, float* w, float* h, bool transformed) const noexcept;
- Result Paint::bounds(float* x, float* y, float* w, float* h) const noexcept;
@Issues: https://github.com/Samsung/thorvg/issues/746
The API expected floats, whereas the called impl function expected
ints. The values were saved as floats, so the float->int->float conversion
is not needed.
there some multiple wrong calculation about size during tvg optimiation.
this patch fixes them.
1. picture needs to return the current desired size because
it will save the transformed the geometry. the final size should be
recorvered as the base size from the loader.
2. clippath missed to multiply parents transform, it's fixed.
@Issue: https://github.com/Samsung/thorvg/issues/752
picture must return the boundary info - 0, 0, w, h
We assume that it has a designated picture size.
Aside from this issue,
bounds() api must be reviewed, its behavior is quite in a trouble...
unless the result is not transformed, its information is useless...
@Issue: https://github.com/Samsung/thorvg/issues/741
Calling picture->load after it was already once called resulted in
segmentation fault or memory leak (depending on whether the vector (svg, tvg)
or raster (jpg, png, raw) file was loaded).
This patch checks the image has already been loaded. If so, the load()
returns InsufficientCondition.
@issue: fixes#719
This change protects against negative value in unsigned int of
RenderRegion.x/y. This fixes a problem of invisible paint if ClipPath
bounds was negative.
@issue: #704
This optimizes binary size by skipping the scene if it has the only child.
though the reduced size is too trivial size (avg 0.4% as far as I checked our example svgs),
we can reduce the loading job & runtime memory as well.
Pixel-based image picture doesn't work at size() method.
Obvisouly, we missed to implement it properly.
This patch corrects it.
@Issue: https://github.com/Samsung/thorvg/issues/656
Bitmap based pictures doesn't need the viewbox,
LoaderModule should delegate the viewbox to the derived classes which
having vector-based image loaders such as svg, tvg.
In that case, paint resizing can be performed by the loaders by own
policy.
replace from Scene to Paint at the internal interface.
Picture doesn't need to know the returned Node type.
base class, Paint is enough to in the data passing.
tvg saver is a new module to export tvg files.
In this patch, it also contains the infrastructure of saver module
to expand other types of savers such as png, jpg, etc.
To save the tvg file from a paint, you can use the Saver feature, for example:
auto saver = tvg::Saver::gen();
saver->save(paint, "sample.tvg");
saver->sync();
Later, you can read the "sample.tvg" using Picture.
auto picture = tvg::Picture::gen();
picture->load("sample.tvg");
...
The behavior of the saver will work on sync/async based on the threading setting of the initializer.
Thus if you wish to have a benefit of it, you must call sync() after the save() in the proper delayed time.
Otherwise, you can call sync() immediately.
Note that, the asynchronous tasking is depent on the saver module implementation.
Also, you need to enable tvg saver/loader modules from meson option. (yet this feature is under the beta)
@API Addition:
Result Saver::save(std::unique_ptr<Paint> paint, const std::string& path) noexcept;
Result Saver::sync() noexcept;
@Examples: tvgSaver
@Co-author: Mira Grudzinska <m.grudzinska@samsung.com>
The Saver class enables to save any Paint object (Scene, Shape, Picture)
in a binary file. To read the file the tvg loader should be used.
To save a paint a new API was introduced - tvg::Saver::save.
Paints must clear canvas engine data if they were dismissed from the canvas,
1. Canvas::clear(free = false) must retain all the paints from the paints hierarchy
so that user keeps the all dangled paints lifecycle.
In this scenario, it could leak the engine data of paints, this patch fixes it.
2. Previously, t just keeps the immediate paints lives of canvas, but not them of children of scene nor picture.
This patch changes a policy which was not considered seriously,
Now it keeps the all paints lives through the tree-hieararchy.
3. Also changed the Scene::clear() behavior identical to Canvas::clear() for consistency.
@API Modification:
From: Result Scene::clear() noexcept;
To: Result Scene::clear(bool free = true) noexcept;
A duplicated picture needs to access internal picture loader data
to get its properties while rasterizing.
But it missed the loader since it's not copied from origin.
Thus, we fix this by sharing the internal loader among the duplications and origin.
@Examples: Duplicate
When shapes are poped from canvas while retaining shapes instances,
they have no chances to redraw after pushed again due to missing flag.
This patch fixes it by forcely updating flag on pushing time.
@Issues: 181
remove the opacity argument in the render method.
Considered again, this opacity value is not commonly used yet.
we can introduce it when it's necessary.
Splited out ClipPath routine from other pixel compositions'
since yet it's unlikely compatible...
Also revise internal engine interfaces to be simpler.
This is a step forward to enhance masking feature.
Introduce RendererMethod::renderRegion() to return acutal drawing region info.
That is used by scene composition to composite actual partial drawing region
for better performance.
@Issues: 173
Apply tvg Array instead of std::vector
Also Fixed to compList in update() to passed by reference, not copying.
Also Fixed Composition Target memory leak
Here is the binary size result:
[libthorvg.so] 1785376 >> 1607416
[text] 121255 >> 118277
[data] 7792 >> 7736
[dec] 129119 >> 126085
* common Picture : Introduce Picture's size setter, getter APIs
If picture or file loaded by picture has an explicit Size(width, height),
it is transformed to fit the size.
Add RawLoader class that loads and display raw images,
and adds a Rasterizer for image data.
Image data can be loaded via picture.
Loaded image supports Composition, Transformation and Alpha blending.
New API
Result load(uint32_t* data, uint32_t width, uint32_t height, bool isCopy) noexcept;
We introduced separate opacity interface to adjust alpha value by paint.
This opacity will affect to whole paint image if paint is a group of paints.
Also, this opacity is to multipy with fill/stroke alpha values.
This means if the opacity is valid, the paint might deal with a composition step,
which is very expensive due to additional rendering step.
One tip is, if you want to toggle on/off for a certian paint,
you can set opacity to 255 or 0.
@API Additions:
Result Paint::opacity(uint8_t o) noexcept;
uint8_t Paint::opacity() const noexcept;
